Philly Stake is a volunteer-run organization looking to support a local creative community project with an award of approximately $800. The organization raises funds through proceeds from a locally-sourced meal at an event where attendees vote for the project they want to support. The Office of Homelessness Services Continuum of Care (CoC) local competition is open now. They are looking for new applicants doing projects related to transitional housing, supportive services and street outreach. Projects will be scored according to HUD criteria.

The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency is accepting bids to purchase $10 million in affordable housing tax credits. Proceeds from the winning bids will support the construction or rehabilitation of affordable rental communities across Pennsylvania.

PHFA has also opened bidding for $4.5 million in mixed‑use development tax credits. Proceeds generated through the competitive bidding process will support the construction or rehabilitation of mixed‑use developments that strengthen communities across the Commonwealth.

The Bank Enterprise Award (BEA) Program provides financial awards to FDIC-insured banks that increase investments in CDFIs and underserved communities. Grants.gov submissions and AMIS account creation are due July 24, with complete applications due July 31.

The Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation (PHDC) issued a Request for Proposals to owners and/or property managers (on behalf of owners) of affordable housing properties with income-restricted rental units that were built or substantially renovated with federal, state, or local subsidies.

PHDC is seeking Respondents who are interested in participating in the Shallow Rent Program designed to provide monthly rent vouchers not to exceed $500 per month to tenants who are leasing income-restricted rental units in the City of Philadelphia at rent levels that exceed 30% of their gross income.

The Art and Change Grant (ACG) provides $5,000 grants to fund art for social change projects by women, trans*, and/or gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers living in Greater Philadelphia.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh has opened its application for the Affordable Housing Program (AHP) and Voluntary Housing Grant (VHG). They support eligible affordable housing development projects with awards of up to $125,000 per unit and $1,250,000 per project.

The Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity is seeking a qualified non-profit organization to increase or build out 1:1 services for comprehensive financial counseling. Desired services will be modeled after national models of Financial Empowerment Centers. Contract amounts are between $0 and $260,000.

Pennsylvania CDFI Network’s Microgrants Program is open for eligible small, for-profit, historically disadvantaged businesses to apply. Grants will range from $7,500 to $20,000 and can be used for a variety of business expenses.

The US Department of Housing and Urban Development is offering awards of $500,000 to $15,000,000 to eligible applicants under two different programs: Youth Homelessness System Improvement (YHSI) grants and Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP). Under the YHSI grants, HUD will make awards to selected communities to support them in establishing and implementing a response system for youth homelessness or for improving their existing response system. Under the YHDP, HUD will provide funding to communities to implement housing and supportive services projects.

The Philadelphia Land Bank , is soliciting proposals from developers to acquire and develop parcels located in the 37th Ward in North Philadelphia for single family affordable housing in accordance with their Request for Proposals. Read the RFP here and find more information here.

The Department of Human Services is interested in contracting with agencies able to operate a comprehensive, trauma informed emergency shelter program that ensures the immediate safety, stabilization, and well being for dependent males and females to include transgender and gender non-conforming youth. Only providers licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and capable of delivering services within the state of Pennsylvania need apply.

Contract amount is listed as up to $1,500,000.

The Public Health Management Corporation, in coalition with the Philly Tree Plan, is looking for proposals from community organizations to lead projects that support the long-term sustainability of Philadelphia’s urban forest in high-priority neighborhoods.

They encourage organizations planting and caring for trees, engaging residents in stewardship and sustaining Philadelphia’s tree canopy in other ways to apply. A total of $350,000 is available for this funding cycle. Most grants will range from $5,000–$35,000, though larger requests may be considered based on project scope and impact.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development is offering grants from $2,500 to $25,000,000 to qualified nonprofits, governments, and educational institutions as part of their FY 2026 Continuum of Care Competition and Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program.
