As-Salaam Alaykum and Peace be upon you. My name is Devin Uqdah. I am the newly elected President of the Universal Muslim Business Association. I would like to thank our chairman, vice chairwoman, general counsel & board of directors, prior members while welcoming new members. This past year and this current year will be a trying year for individuals and their personal finances and businesses in their business finances. We at the Universal Muslim Business Association believe that we have a solution to personal financial issues, business financial issues, and community issues at large. The solution is economic development. The way to foster economic development is to establish businesses, help them grow, and create jobs. Utilizing our 10-point plan and our network of members, any business can reach the aforementioned objectives and create a sustainable business. We all can collectively come out of this pandemic financially better than we began. We have assembled a team and made connections to help us complete our vision. I am grateful and excited for this opportunity, it is a task I spent my life preparing to devote myself to, and I am looking forward to the programs and initiatives we have planned.
